She is a screenwriter and copywriter with extensive experience in television formats, both in advertising and content creation.
Born in Madrid, Izaskun grew up dreaming of studying and pursuing a career in the world of cinema.
After attending university, she enrolled in the Madrid Film School (ECAM), from which she graduated three years later with a diploma in film and television screenwriting.
Throughout her career, she has done it all: writing scripts for award ceremonies, comedy monologues, mentoring novice screenwriters, analysing scripts for talent agents, selecting projects for screenwriting awards, helping as a script doctor to develop series bibles and feature film projects. However, it has been television and non-fiction content that have finally won her heart and helped her grow professionally.
For the past 15 years, Izaskun has worked on transmedia projects, audiovisual formats in brand content, marketing and advertising, before ultimately discovering her passion for unscripted entertainment, in which she has specialised and has been working for the last few years in Patito. Yes, believe it or not, unscripted formats also need screenwriters.
